Effective Date: 9/29/2026
Last Updated: 9/29/2026

This Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy ("Policy") explains how Vincent & Son Upholstery LLC, doing business as "Vincent & Son Upholstery" ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects Personal Information when individuals visit vsujax.com, contact us, purchase or request our products or services, or otherwise interact with our business.

This Policy is a notice of our privacy practices. It is not intended to obtain consent where applicable law requires a separate affirmative consent, and it does not waive or limit any privacy right that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to Personal Information Company controls through vsujax.com, related web properties operated by Company, business communications, consultations, transactions, marketing activities, and other interactions with Vincent & Son Upholstery LLC.

Company provides custom upholstery, furniture reupholstery, and repair services.

This Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of third-party websites, applications, payment processors, booking systems, social networks, advertising platforms, or other services not controlled by Company.

2. Our Privacy Role

Company generally determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Information relating to its own website visitors, prospects, customers, business contacts, vendors, and administrative operations and therefore acts as the responsible business or controller where those terms apply.

If Company processes Personal Information solely on behalf of another business under that business's instructions, Company may instead act as a processor, service provider, contractor, or comparable entity for that processing. The applicable client agreement may control those processing obligations.

3. Personal Information We Collect

3.1 Contact and Identifier Information

We may collect names, email addresses, telephone numbers, business names, mailing or service addresses, IP addresses, online identifiers, and similar contact information.

3.3 Device and Internet Activity

We may collect IP address, browser/device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers, and other technical or interaction data.

3.4 Communications and Submitted Content

We collect information voluntarily submitted through forms, email, telephone, chat, file upload, review, support request, or other communications.

4. Sources of Personal Information

  • Directly from you, including forms, calls, emails, purchases, bookings, and other communications.
  • Automatically from devices and browsers, including cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and server logs.
  • Service providers, including analytics, payment, booking, CRM, email, hosting, security, and advertising providers.
  • Publicly available sources, where Company lawfully obtains business or professional contact information.
  • Referral sources and business partners, where they are permitted to provide the information.

5. How We Use Personal Information

  • responding to inquiries and requests;
  • providing custom upholstery, furniture reupholstery, and repair services;
  • processing orders, appointments, payments, refunds, and customer service;
  • communicating about transactions, services, support, and administrative matters;
  • operating, securing, debugging, and improving the Website;
  • measuring website, advertising, and campaign performance;
  • performing analytics, attribution, testing, optimization, and reporting;
  • marketing our products or services where permitted by law;
  • preventing fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity;
  • maintaining tax, accounting, contractual, and legal records;
  • enforcing agreements and protecting legal rights; and
  • other purposes disclosed at collection or otherwise permitted by law.

Where applicable law requires consent for a particular processing activity, we will rely on the required consent rather than this Policy alone.

6. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose Personal Information to vendors and service providers that help us operate our business, including hosting, security, CRM, email, SMS, analytics, advertising, booking, payment, accounting, customer-support, and technology providers.

Current or representative providers may include: hosting provider MarketingAid; CRM MarketingAid; email provider MarketingAid; SMS provider None; and payment processor {{PAYMENT_PROCESSOR_OR_NONE}}.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, insurers, banks, auditors, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when reasonably necessary to obtain professional services, comply with law, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, protect rights or safety, or respond to lawful process.

Information may also be disclosed in connection with a merger, financing, investment, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.

7. Sale, Sharing & Targeted Advertising

As of the Effective Date of this Policy, Company does not sell Personal Information to data brokers or other third parties in exchange for monetary consideration.

Our practices may evolve. If Company adopts a materially broader data-use practice, Company will provide any additional notice, consent opportunity, or opt-out mechanism required by applicable law before applying the new practice where legally required.

8. Cookie Policy

Cookies are small data files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies may include pixels, web beacons, local storage, tags, device identifiers, and server-side event reporting.

Cookie names and retention periods can change when providers modify their technology. The live cookie inventory shown by our consent-management platform, if available, may provide more current operational details than a static list.

9. Analytics & Advertising Technologies

Google Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand Website traffic, page interactions, referral sources, approximate geography, browser/device characteristics, and conversion activity. Where required by law, non-essential analytics storage is subject to the applicable consent choice.

10. Email, SMS & Communications

We may send transactional, service-related, administrative, and marketing communications where permitted by law.

Marketing email may contain technologies that report delivery, open, click, or conversion signals. Open data is not perfectly reliable because privacy features, proxy loading, security scanners, and automated systems can generate or suppress events.

You may opt out of promotional email using the unsubscribe method in the message. Opting out of marketing does not prevent communications reasonably necessary to fulfill a transaction, provide requested services, administer an account, respond to support requests, or provide legal/security notices.

11. Data Retention

We retain Personal Information for no longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or subsequently authorized, including providing services, maintaining business and tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, enforcing agreements, maintaining security logs, satisfying legal obligations, and preserving appropriate backup or archival records.

Retention can vary based on the type of information, relationship, legal requirements, applicable limitation periods, security needs, provider configuration, and whether deletion is technically feasible from active systems, backups, or archives.

12. Data Security

Company maintains administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, acquisition, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, taking into account the nature of the information and the circumstances of processing.

No network, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. Accordingly, Company cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where a security incident triggers a legally applicable notification obligation, Company will provide or support legally required notifications in accordance with applicable law and Company's role in the affected processing.

13. Privacy Rights & Requests

Depending on your jurisdiction, the law that applies to Company, and the context of processing, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of information, withdraw consent, object to or restrict certain processing, or opt out of legally defined sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.

To submit a request, email [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Rights Request.

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity, locate relevant records, prevent fraud, or verify an authorized agent. We will respond within the period required by the law applicable to the request.

14. Florida Privacy Disclosures

Company handles information subject to the Florida Information Protection Act, Fla. Stat. § 501.171, in accordance with obligations applicable to Company, including reasonable measures to protect covered electronic Personal Information and applicable breach-notification requirements.

The Florida Digital Bill of Rights, Fla. Stat. §§ 501.701–501.722, contains specific applicability requirements and exemptions. To the extent Company is a covered controller for a particular processing activity, eligible Florida consumers may exercise rights and opt-outs provided by that law, subject to its definitions, exceptions, authentication requirements, and other statutory conditions.

Children's Privacy

Our Website and Services are not directed to children under 13 unless expressly stated otherwise. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 in a manner subject to COPPA without the required authorization.

If Company learns that Personal Information was collected from a child in violation of applicable law, Company will take reasonable steps to address the information as legally required.

Third-Party Websites & Services

Our Website may contain links, embedded content, payment tools, booking tools, maps, social features, or other integrations operated by third parties. Information provided directly to a third party is governed by that third party's terms and privacy practices. Company does not control an independent third party's privacy practices.

Changes to This Policy

Company may update this Policy to reflect changes in business practices, technology, vendors, Services, or legal requirements. The Last Updated date identifies the current version.

If a change materially affects how previously collected Personal Information is used or disclosed, Company will provide any additional notice, consent opportunity, or privacy choice required by applicable law before applying that change where legally required.
